Here's The Story...

Ok so a couple of years back, I bought some second hand turntables (with the bonus of a rubbishy mixer) off ebay. The kit has been pretty much neglected since I bought it, mainly because I've had a degree to do and also because DJing is a lot harder than I anticipated. I'm not very good at doing two things at once...even though I am a girl and because of this the turntables are frustrating me, more and more!

Setup:

2x Technics SL 1200 MK5
Gemini FX 7000
Pioneer HDJ 1000 headphones
Shure WHLB carts

Pretty decent? That's what I thought. Wish I could get the whole lot to sound good though. This is why I have chosen to write this blog. I would love to hear from fellow learners, DJs, or anyone at all really. I want to get this thing nailed and I want to start DJing properly. I think it could be a great hobby...and potentially a great job.
